The Damnnation: “Parasite” – Brand New EP of Brazilian Female Power Trio

The newest Brazilian metal band, The Damnnation, presents a versatile sound, which mixes several strands of extreme metal. Three insane girls making metal without labels, aware and consistent with themes about depression, injustice and politics. With influences from Testament, Megadeth, Nervosa and Kreator.

The Damnnation has just released the second single and video clip of his career, “Apocalypse”. The track is part of the EP entitled ‘Parasite’, which will be released on October 10th. “Apocalypse” brings a new and extremely heavy sound, a different style within the extreme metal being difficult to classify in just one specific genre. The single is available on all digital platforms.

The Damnnation is a power trio that started after guitarist Renata Petrelli (Marie Dolls, ex-Sinaya) and drummer Cynthia Tsai (Little Room, ex-Sinaya) decided to found a new band in early 2019. Looking for a bassist, Renata invited Camis Brandão, (Charlotte killed a guy), to join forces and make a type of flexible and more organic metal, without clinging to stereotypes, putting all the good influences of the group and making new songs, with a unique sound and lots of personality. With a focus on other projects, Cynthia and Camis leave the band, which now has Aline Dutchi (bassist) and Leonora Mölka (drummer).

The band also has a video for the track “World’s Curse”, the band’s first song to be officially released in the specialized media. The next music video will be on the track “Parasite”, which has already been recorded and will be released in October.
